Electronic Poker is a beloved game that can be wagered on in casinos across the globe, or in your house on your PC, through a net account. The game rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards as you can in order to come away with cash. In this respect it is much the same as a regular game of poker, apart from the interaction with any other players. Of course, techniques employed during a physical game of poker, like bluffing, will be useless here.

The game of Electronic Poker begins when the enthusiast inserts credits (whether it’s tokens, tickets or money) into the machine and presses the play button. A five card hand will be electronically ‘distributed’ on the video screen.

The Video Poker game also has hold buttons, and bettors will need to now choose which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the player would like to retain, the ‘hold’ buttons need to be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any number of cards they want, whether it’s all or none.

After the gambler has decided on which cards he or she would like to keep, they should press ‘deal’, at which point any fresh cards are given out if desired. The round is now completed, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.

Typically, the lowest succeeding hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money getting larger for each and every better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It definitely goes without saying that the pay out schedule can change from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable gamblers are able to pick the most money-making ones each and every time.

After the first round has finished, the player can either decide to stay on in an attempt to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that might been won. Further, several styles of the game give the player a chance to double their profits, in which instance a further hand is played. There are also differences between specific machines, with some decks of cards having wild cards and other differing aspects to enhance playability.
